A firm of solicitors in Bolton has secured the funding that will allow it to become a full-service operation and virtually double the size of its workforce over the next 12 months.
Asons Solicitors has received financial backing from HSBC that they will use to hire more staff.
The firm was founded in 2008 by director Imran Akram and currently has 132 staff. In 2013 they plan to add another 117 employees.
The firm specialises in personal injury claims, including clinical negligence and industrial disease but with the extra resources they plan to add corporate services such as advice on mergers and acquisitions and an employment law team.
Mr Akram said: “The support from HSBC will really help our business to grow; by doubling our workforce we can take the business forward in becoming a full-service law firm.”
Jason Trigg, HSBC’s Manchester area director, said: “Asons Solicitors is an excellent example of a business that is making its capital work to support growth. As a significant employer in the area, it is great to see the business continuing to go from strength-to-strength from a sound strategic plan which will see it boost its turnover and recruitment further.”
