Cheltenham local Lindsay Babbage has been nominated for a Women in Business award after being promoted every year at Datasource Computer Employment Limited since joining the firm six years ago.
Lindsay has been nominated for in the Rising Star of the Year category in the 2012 Citizen and Echo Women in Business Awards.
Lindsay is the only employee who has been promoted every year since she started working there in 2005.
Director Stuart MacLeod said: “Lindsay has been instrumental not only in developing and expanding new clients but has also single handedly introduced areas of focus for the business with the signing of three new supplier agreements with major global providers of outsourcing and consulting solutions.
“As a company we are excited to work with Lindsay in 2012 as she has great ambition to expand and grow the business.
“Lindsay has set herself targets above and beyond the level that Datasource would expect and are excited to watch her achieve her goals over the next 12 months.
“Her drive and enthusiasm for business is second to none and we would rank her the best sales and new business development manager that we have had working for us in the 32 years that we have been established.”
Lindsay initially started at the company in an accounts based role but has worked her way up during her time there. In her second year she began working in recruitment and by year four she was working on some of the company’s biggest accounts including Ministry of Defence and Government projects.
