£300,000 left to Cheltenham by war veteran

Eric Bond, a war veteran from Cheltenham lived a quiet life in his home town. He had no children, and lived in a house in Tivoli with his brother Bert for over 50 years. It emerged that following his death, Mr. Bond generously left life savings of £300,000 to the people of Cheltenham. Mr. Bond passed away at the age of 86 at Tewkesbury Hospital in 2010, but his estate has only recently been organised.

Khiri is marrying her childhood sweetheart Lewis Peters, and they were the lucky winners amongst other couples who were hoping to win the competition.
