Special grapes make it to the supermarket

Specialised yellow grapes from the Chatsworth estate have been sold in a supermarket for the first time this year. The rare sweet grapes are usually seen in the warm climates of Spain, France, Chile and South Africa, but are successfully grown in a glasshouse on the estate on the outskirts of Chesterfield.

Student scores top job

A college student has netted himself a place in the Chesterfield FC reserve team after proving his skills on the pitch. Jonathan Wafula, a student at the Chesterfield College Football Academy, has been picked to play in the reserve team and has already played during a match against Newcastle United.
