Only Fools & Horses promotion campaign for Coventry driving schools

Driving schools in Coventry have a new cushdy idea for bringing in new students and it’s based on the iconic television show Only Fools And Horses.

Danny Costa, owner of Brandon School of Motoring has been driving a bright yellow Robin Reliant around Coventry in recent weeks complete with its own Batman, Robin and Uncle Albert.

The yellow three-wheeler is a publicity stunt for three independent driving schools based in the Coventry area.

Danny said: “I thought I’d better come up with something a bit different to advertise. I’ve teamed up with two other driving schools, Ceri’s Driving Tuition, run by Ceri Clelland, and Binley School of Motoring, run by Bill Hawker.

“If you advertise on the side of a normal learner car nobody really looks but everyone knows Only Fools and Horses so I thought this would work.

“My daughter’s set up something on Facebook so we decided we’d dress up as Batman, Robin and Uncle Albert for some pictures.

“It’s worked really well. We’ve had more calls and the work has picked up. Everyone seems to enjoy seeing it around.”
