Public Vote for Godiva Festival Site Relocation Plans

Coventry City Council will hold a public vote on whether the annual Godiva Festival should relocate from its traditional site to a city centre site. The free festival has taken place for the past 15 years but had to be cancelled in 2012 due to adverse weather conditions.

A leading Coventry printers is moving into new premises after investing £60,000 in its future growth. Zoom Digital Print Ltd was formed in 2008 by business partners Peter Doyle and Richard Smith and their original premises were on the Binley Industrial Estate.

50th anniversary for Foleshill hair salon

Foleshill Road hairdressers in Coventry are still going strong after 50 years in the business. The salon was first opened by 72 year old Valerie Young in June 1962 and she still lives and works there today.
