Olympic-inspired song from Croydon duo
A Croydon duo are going for gold with a song that they hope will become an anthem for young teens during the London 2012 Olympics. Jason Douglas and Adrian Brobbey aim to represent the capital during the momentous event and put the city of London in a positive light.

Ex-professional footballers have been doing their bit for the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT) as they play alongside local celebrities in a bid to raise money for the worthy cause. The teams will compete for the Daniel De-Gale trophy. The match will happen at the Brentford FC’s ground on Braemar Road.

Dads’ Time Tales, a book of children’s stories that have been written by a group of fathers for their young children, has just been published. The book contains six different stories that have been written by eight fathers who are all members of a fathers’ group in Croydon.

There will be a Hollywood style destruction of one of Croydon’s landmark buildings for the next Batman film. The multi million dollar film starring Christian Bale and Tom Hardy will be the third in the new Batman franchise. The new plot has been shrouded in secrecy since Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises started filming in India.
