People who are planning to get healthier and do more exercise in 2012 can get the step up that they need with the Sue Ryder Care charity trek. The St John’s Hospice in Moggerhanger is inviting people to keep to their New Year’s resolutions and join in a trek along Hadrian’s Wall in April.
The trek will take place between the 27th and 29th of April this year and will raise money for the hospice which offers support and care for people with life limiting illnesses including motor neurone disease and cancer.
People who want to take part are encouraged to register soon as places are limited.
It only costs £80 to register and each participant has a fundraising target of £500, which will pay for a full 24 hours of expert nursing care.
The fundraising team for St John’s Hospice will be on hand to help those taking part to reach their target. They will be available to offer tips and expert advice.
If you would like to take part, got to www.sueryder.org/hadrianswall or get in touch with Tori Bray-Whitworth, running and challenge fundraiser on 01767 641044.
