Local Elvis fans are looking for a venue where they can celebrate the anniversary of the death of the King.
The Cambridge branch of the official Elvis Presley Fan Club hoped to make their Festival Style Elvis Disco an annual event but faced an obstacle when their venue was closed.
A group spokesman said: “We want to run this charity event for the fans by the fans on Saturday, August 18, and now need to find a new venue.
“The charity we support on the evening has not yet been selected, so if any pub or club can help us, we can let you choose if that helps.
“Ideally we would like to find a venue where we can hold our Elvis events on a bi-monthly basis.
“We will have a top Elvis Presley DJ, Vince Wright, in charge of the music, film show and more.
“If any rock ’n’ rollers know of anybody selling memorabilia of 1950s stuff, we would be interested in hearing from them.”
The group are also inviting singers of all abilities to get in touch and they could have the chance to perform at the event.
