Elvis fans seek bar to rock out to the King
Local Elvis fans are looking for a venue where they can celebrate the anniversary of the death of the King. The Cambridge branch of the official Elvis Presley Fan Club hoped to make their Festival Style Elvis Disco an annual event but faced an obstacle when their venue was closed.

A fundraising concert was held to raise funds to repair cracks in Ely Cathedral. The North Transept at Ely’s Cathedral is one of the earliest surviving sections of the stunning medieval building: it dates back to 1080. Masonry damage and stone failure is causing some serious cracking though. To help raise the funds needed for repairs: £180,000 worth, a programme of well known classical music has been compiled called A Summer Prom.
