Ubiquitous Chip Goes 3D Glasgow’s famous restaurant The Ubiquitous Chip celebrated its 40th birthday by going 3D. The restaurant, in the city’s West End, turned 40 in 2011. A digital mural with 3D images was unveiled at the restaurant to mark the birthday. The mural was designed by artist Alasdair Gray, who painted murals on the restaurant walls in the 1970s in exchange for free meals.
