Market stall for green-fingered pupils
Primary school children will be selling their home-grown veg alongside top organic producers after being given a pitch at a top London market. Pupils from six primary schools in the Clapham area will sell their produce at the Venn Street Market from July as part of a project called the Clapham Leaf Club.

Met police officer Joanna Vigo-Mestres has been given a top award after working to train colleagues whilst undergoing gruelling cancer treatment. PC Vigo-Mestres, 44, was given Met Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe’s Professionalism Whilst Overcoming Adversity award during the Excellence in Policing Awards.

The Queen, the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Cornwall stepped out in public together for their first joint royal engagement with a trip to Fortnum and Mason. The three royal ladies paid a visit to the famous Piccadilly department store at the beginning of March to unveil a plaque marking the regeneration of the area.
