Teenager mixes with the stars

Teenager Declan Laird is mixing with the stars after swapping his life in Kilmacolm for an acting scholarship in the States. The 18-year-old, who is studying at the Stella Adler acting school in Los Angeles, has managed to meet Justin Timberlake, Entourage stars Kevin Connoly and Jerry Ferraro and Port Glasgow actor Ross McCall, who starred in Band of Brothers, since starting his studies last year.

Dancers keep a big secret

Talented young dancers had to keep a big secret when they found out they had made it through to the final stages of a talent show. The young members of dance group Fear of the Unknown had to keep quiet for weeks after being told they had made it through to the semi-finals of the Sky 1 show Got to Dance.

New rugby kit goes back to roots

Rugby players have gone back to their roots with their latest kit thanks to a new sponsorship deal. The new Paisley Rugby Club strip has gone back to a traditional ‘quarters’ design this season for the first time in 10 years.
