Baby Monkeys Delight Forest Visitors

There have been plenty of “ahhhs” from visitors to the Trentham Monkey Forest thanks to the arrival of three new babies. Staff at the forest are celebrating the new arrivals because the Barbary macaque monkeys are an endangered species.

Grandmother Is Weight Loss Champion

A grandmother is celebrating after losing a staggering seven stone in just over a year as part of an anti-obesity campaign. Joyce Conway, 64, weighed 19st when she joined the Lifestyle initiative organised by Stoke City Council.

Students See Their Art In The Pavements

Graphic design students have had their artwork put into pavements as part of a project to improve public spaces. Asphalt designs and plaques have been unveiled in the ground in Thornton Road in the city’s University Quarter after they were designed by the 15 students from Staffordshire University.
