A soft toy has been reunited with its owner after a ‘line-up’ of lost teddy bear and soft toy mugshots were shared online.
The lost toy campaign was launched by staff at Glasgow Airport after they found they were in possession of 21 previously loved teddy bears and other stuffed animals.
The first success story of the campaign came soon after, when a 10-year-old girl was happily reunited with her lost toy Labrador.
The airport has also now launched a Take Care of My Bear initiative. This involves giving out tags for the bears so that they can be marked with their owner’s details in case they do get lost. Great idea!
A spokesperson for Glasgow Airport said: “We hope the bears have enjoyed spending koala-ty time at the airport, but their owners must really miss them. We hope that somebody will recognise their furry friend and collect them.
“We’re just softies really, and we’re doing everything we can to make sure more bears don’t get mislaid which is why we’re introducing our new teddy bear tags.”
