Partnership aims to give town a boost
A new partnership has been launched in an aim to give Hemel Hempstead a fresh start. The Hemel Hempstead Town Centre Partnership (HHTCP) was officially launched in September at the Town Centre Bandstand, and hopes to result in improvements across the town.

A foodbank has been opened in Hemel Hempstead to help support struggling families and individuals in the area. The Dacorum Foodbank has been opened after Mayor Cllr Gillian Chapman chose the DENS Action against Homelessness as her charity for the year.

A public performance has been held at Berkhamsted Castle for the first time in 15 years. The open-air show of Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance was allowed to take place at the castle site after the Town Council and Berkhamsted Arts Trust were given permission by English Heritage.
