Partnership aims to give town a boost
A new partnership has been launched in an aim to give Hemel Hempstead a fresh start. The Hemel Hempstead Town Centre Partnership (HHTCP) was officially launched in September at the Town Centre Bandstand, and hopes to result in improvements across the town.

A foodbank has been opened in Hemel Hempstead to help support struggling families and individuals in the area. The Dacorum Foodbank has been opened after Mayor Cllr Gillian Chapman chose the DENS Action against Homelessness as her charity for the year.

Pupils are enjoying a new nature garden at their school after members of the community chose them to receive council cash. Residents in the Adeyfield area were asked to vote on local projects worthy of receiving money from Dacorum Borough and Hertfordshire County Councils.The Adeyfield Action – You Choose project awarded money to Broadfield School to build a new Windmill Nature Garden.
