Charity worker Nicci Shrimpton has been chosen to carry the Olympic torch across her home county of Powys. Nicci, 45, from Caersws, will carry the torch on a leg of its journey between Swansea and Aberystwyth on May 27. She is among 8,000 runners to be chosen for the honour of taking part in the relay, which will mark the start of the London 2012 Games.
