Dancers wow crowds
Children impressed the crowd at the May Day village fete with their demonstration of different dance styles. The event was organised by governors from Coates Primary School and saw the children perform traditional Maypole and country dances as well as African dance.

Sarah Croft from Peterborough lived for £1 a day to raise awareness about poverty with the Live Below The Line project. Sarah swapped a packed lunch for a slice of bread to try and understand what it is like to be in the shoes of 1.4 billion people a year have a daily food budget of less than £1.

A charity volunteer has been recognised for her work with a national award. Member of the Stamford branch of Epilepsy Action, Pam Milne, will be presented with the award for Epilepsy Action Branch Member of the Year by Philip Lee the group’s chief executive.
