New bottle bank

A Ramsey shop has unveiled a new plastic bottle holder to celebrate the start of 2012’s Climate Week. ‘The Cage’ has the ability to hold up to 700 single-use plastic bottles and has been specifically designed to highlight the scale of the UK’s plastic bottle wastage.

Ramsey Heights event teaches youngsters about wildlife

An interactive lesson that tells children about how our wildlife is affected by seasonal changes was attended by a flock of youngsters. The event was held at the Wildlife Trust Countryside Centre in Ramsey Heights. The interactive ‘Winter Wildlife’ was held in the afternoon.

Gig for Special Care Baby Unit care

A gig and raffle for the Peterborough City Hospital’s Special Care Baby Unit have been arranged by the family who wanted to thank the unit for nursing their baby to health. Staceman’s Charity Gig is taking place on the 21st of April at the Goodbarns Yard, in St Johns Street, Peterborough.
