The organisers of this year’s Royston pantomime say it will be autism-friendly.
The drama group Cads, which will be putting on Knight Fever at Meridian School on January 20, 21, 27 and 28, has made special plans to make the pantomime experience more enjoyable for any audience members who have autism.
It is hoped that the introduction of a special seating area, a chill-out zone and a booklet that informs visitors of what they can expect from characters and the show will help to make the pantomime experience more predictable and therefore more enjoyable for those with autism.
