Tributes have been pouring in for a popular pub landlord who has died at the age of 71. Dave Tucker, who ran The Three Willows, in Birchanger, died after a two-year battle with cancer. He was still welcoming customers into the pub just two weeks before he passed away.

Youngsters were asked to get out and about in their communities during half term as part of a Love Where You Live campaign. The campaign is being run by Essex County Council to encourage residents to pick up litter, plant trees and do conservation work in their communities.

Residents in Stansted are being urged to take part in more voluntary work. Essex County Council is calling on residents to use their passions and skills to make the region a better place to live and work in.
