During a screening of the Roman based epic “Gladiator” at Chester Amphitheatre, Frazer Mataitonga arranged for the words “I love you so much Victoria Reeves, will you marry me?” to be shown on the silver screen.
Mataitonga completed a seven month tour of Afghanistan despite being injured by Improvised Explosive Device (IED).
His bride to be, Victoria Reeves said “yes” and “burst into tears, of joy of course” adding “I couldn’t concentrate on the film though and couldn’t tell you what it was about!”
They met in Chester during an inter-army Rugby match two years ago.
The happy couple are due to be married in 2012 and are expecting the birth of their first child in July.
