Faith Taylor who runs Miss Molly’s hairdressers in Chester is holding a 12 hour sponsored blow-drying day on Monday 10th September to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The marathon charity event will be held at her hair salon in LA Fitness, on Wrexham Road, Chester.
Faith has been running the Miss Molly’s salon for the past eight and a half years. She is asking that her customers donate what they can afford to have their hair washed and blow dried.
She said: “I am determined to make as much money as possible for this charity and just hope that people will turn up and sponsor me.
“I have been trying to think of a way to raise funds for Cancer Research UK for some time and decided that a 12-hour blow-drying day will hopefully bring customers into the salon.
“I don’t think there is anyone who has not been affected by cancer so I just wanted to do something to help.
“LA Fitness is also doing its bit for the charity and staff will be in fancy dress and there will be free day passes for the public. There will also be half-price coffee and cup cakes in Suki’s bar.”
