Young entrepreneurs in Newmarket have been given a £1,000 boost following a Dragon’s Den style competition hosted by the Newmarket July Festival. Fifteeen students from Newmarket College made presentations to Cllr Robin Millar and Mark Edmondson, festival committee chairman.

Stephen Smith from Wicken, has collected an amazing amount of toys for a children’s charity. Mr Smith, who works for independent distributor Kleeneze used the catalogues that he distributes to send out flyers appealing to people to donate to children’s charity Barnado’s.
