London arts school The Brit offers place to Wroxham dancer

Joe Press, an aspiring West End star, is on his way to achieving his dream after winning a place at the prestigious Brit School. Joe is currently studying musical theatre at City College Norwich and said that he was “over the moon”. Some of the Brit School’s famous alumni include Adele, Amy Winehouse and Leona Lewis.

Foster care drive in Norwich hosted by charity

A new charity drive in Norwich is giving shoppers the chance to find out more about fostering in the city. The Break charity has taken over the old Discovery Store, next to Jane Norman in The Mall in Norwich to raise awareness about the need for more carers throughout the area. The charity is launching a new service to find foster families for young people aged 10 to 18 years old.

Active Norfolk’s Adult Disability Games attended by Olympic medallist Gail Emms

Hundreds of people in Norfolk, including an Olympic medallist attended an event which promoted disability sport opportunities in the area. The fourth annual Adult Disability Games was organised by Active Norfolk and held at the Sportspark at the University of East Anglia.
