Carly first caught the performing bug when she took up acting classes with Judith Barker at the Oldham Coliseum before she went to hone her craft at the Oxford School of Drama. She is also a keen performer with the Manchester Improvisational Comedy Troupe.

This holiday season, the Oldham Children’s Theatre is putting on a production of the well-loved children’s story Pinocchio, which tells the adventures of a puppet that is carved by carpenter Geppetto. Thepuppet, however, comes to life when a magic fairy called blue fairy casts a spell, but he willbecome a real boy if he proves himself worthy and honest. The story of the puppet, whose nose becomes bigger each time he tells a lie, will be shown at the Civic Hall in Uppermill.
