Ghostly Investigations

A paranormal team has investigated one of Aberdeen’s museums, and the city council says the results are interesting. A team from Glasgow Paranormal Investigations paid a visit to the Tolbooth Museum in May. The museum is one of Aberdeen’s oldest buildings. Dolphin Born In Harbour

Oil worker Kevin Hepworth could not believe his eyes when he saw the rare sight of a dolphin being born as he was on his way to work. Kevin, a subsurface technologist for BP, witnessed the amazing sight in Aberdeen Harbour after heading off to work early one morning for a meeting. City Building Changes Colour

One of Aberdeen’s landmark buildings has changed colour after a major clean-up operation. Workers scrubbed 100 years of grime from the front of the Marischal College as part of a huge restoration project. The project took place before the city council moved into the building in June. Student Designs Jewellery Lifeline

A university student has designed a crisis alarm disguised as jewellery in an aim to help victims of domestic abuse. Niall Crossen, 24, of Robert Gordon University’s Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen, has designed an alarm that is hidden in a necklace, bracelet or brooch. The alarm can send a signal to a crisis call centre, and is aimed to provide a lifeline for victims of domestic violence.
