13 animatronic dinosaurs designed in the US have arrived at Chester Zoo to be part of one of the Zoo’s biggest ever exhibits.
The “robots” themselves are life size and include a Triceratops as well as the infamous Tyrannosaurus Rex which reportedly took three months to build.
A spokesperson for the Zoo Will Condliffe released a statement saying that the event is the “biggest exhibition in the Zoo’s 80-year history”.
The “Dinosaurs at Large!” exhibit at Chester Zoo is set to open in July and is designed to raise awareness about the risks of extinction in the present, by showing visitors the beasts of the past.
