Blogger Michelle Pannell from Welwyn Garden City has been shortlisted for an award for her blog Mummy From The Heart. Over 3000 people nominated their favourite blogs for the Mum and Dad (MAD) Blog Awards, with five blogs reaching the finals in the 15 different category groups.
Michelle’s blog is a contender for the Family Life category which recognises bloggers with a unique voice who create compelling content documenting their family life. The winner will receive a family holiday, as well as a brand new iPad.
Michelle, who has three children; Jacob, seven, and Maddie and Lizzie, both three, said: “I’m really excited to have reached the finals of the MAD Blog Awards, over the last couple of years I have worked hard writing my blog with honesty and integrity and it’s fantastic to be in such great company, with so many successful parenting blogs.
“Writing the blog has been difficult at times, but it’s allowed me to make lots of fabulous friends and to know that I am reassuring other parents that we all experience the highs and lows of being a parent”.
