Huge celebrations will welcome Olympic torch
A huge evening of celebration is being planned in Inverness for the arrival of the Olympic torch. The torch is due to arrive in the Highlands as part of its 70-day journey around the UK next year. The Olympic Flame will reach the Highlands on Saturday, June 9, and travel through Glencoe, Ballachullish, Fort William and Spean Bridge before travelling up the A82 to Fort Augustus, Invermoriston and Drumnadrochit and then into Inverness.
