Help for BLEMSA

A local business has helped raise over £700 and donated six wheelchairs to the British Limbless Ex-Service Men’s Association (BLEMSA). Mobility 2000 Ltd. raised the money through the annual Indefatigable Old Boys Association reunion and the company donated the wheelchairs from their own stock.

Wellworthy reinvigoration

A former engineering works in nearby Wellworthy is set to be transformed into an area ideal for storage, industrial activity and other commercial use. The 17.5 acre site is part of Ringwood and has stood empty and dormant for almost 14 years. If plans for development go ahead then the site will create a lot of jobs for local people.

Title for Local Tennis Club

A tennis centre in Victory Park in Salisbury has received the prestigious Beacon Status from the Lawn Tennis Association and Tennis Foundation. The club joins the ranks of around 150 other clubs in the country that have qualified to receive the accolade.
