A local business has helped raise over £700 and donated six wheelchairs to the British Limbless Ex-Service Men’s Association (BLEMSA). Mobility 2000 Ltd. raised the money through the annual Indefatigable Old Boys Association reunion and the company donated the wheelchairs from their own stock.
Mobility 2000 Ltd design wheelchairs and other forms of mobility aids for wounded army personnel as well as those with other forms of disability. A representative of the company said that they were just happy that they “could give something back” to the brave servicemen and women of the British army.
BLEMSA provides all its members with wheelchairs or prosthetic supports that makes everyday life a lot easier for those wounded in battle.
