Three swimming pools in Slough will be closed in January for essential repair work that will cost £145,000.
The three swimming pools are at the Montem Lane Slough Leisure Centre.
The swimming pools will reopen on February 2nd according to Slough Community Leisure (SCL), who are offering the 3,700 people who use the pools every month a compensation package.
The pools were closed on November 27th for Christmas but then engineers found further problems, which included a corroded section of the small pool floor and corroded beams.
Chiefs at SCL have moved some swimming classes to Langley and are offering people facilities at ‘Absolutely Ice’ and ‘Absolutely Ten Pin’.
