Warrington Business School Student Has Been Crowned North West Plumber Of The Year

A Warrington Business School student is celebrating after being named the Heating Installers and Plumbers (HIP) North West Apprentice Plumber of the Year. The nationwide trade competition offers plumbers and heating engineers the chance to prove their skills through a series of challenges and the generation of apprentices and practicing tradesmen that partake can learn valuable lessons on their future in their chosen career.

College wins energy saving award

A Warrington college has received an award at the National Tech World Awards in London for their work reducing energy consumption. Warrington Collegiate won the Best Energy Efficiency Project award for their work reducing their carbon emissions by 24 tonnes. The awards recognise products and innovations in the IT and technology industry and were impressed by the college’s significant reduction in operating power by the college’s IT services and facilities departments.
