A Chester solicitor has completed a coastal walk to raise money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
Julie Sillito, of Riverview Solicitors, raised almost £400 for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research after a friend of hers was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
She raised the money for the charity that is dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
Julie walked the Wirral Coastal Walk on Sunday, May 27.
The 15-mile walk began at Seacombe Ferry and took in the stunning views of the River Mersey, the Irish Sea and the River Dee, ending at Thurstaton Country Park.
Head of sports events at Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research, Dan Solley, said: “Walking is a great way for people of all ages to help raise money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. Every penny raised will be invested in research that is finding better treatments for patients with all blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.”
