A Chester woman who won a party worth £2,000 at a hotel has celebrated her 40th birthday in style.
Jane White won the fabulous prize after a solo performance she gave at last year’s Mold Food and Drink Festival.
The occupational therapist won the £2,000 party at the Day’s Inn Hotel in Sealand, Chester, after dancing in front of crowds at the Day’s Inn stand in a silent disco.
The mum-of-two put on a set of headphones and with an iPod she danced to The Black Eyed Peas on the dance floor, impressing the judges and earning the party prize.
The prize was hire of The Imperial Suite, together with a DJ, balloons, a hot buffet for 100 people and a family room with breakfast.
“I had a fantastic time and everyone said they enjoyed themselves,” said Jane.
