Carpet tiles from a condemned council building are being rescued and brought back to life to help those in financial hardship. A new company has been formed to make use of enough carpet tiles to cover five football pitches, which were rescued from Tayside House before its demolition. The 16-storey former council building was being demolished after Dundee City Council staff moved out earlier in the year.
