Fundraising for Children’s Charity with Cycle to Paris

Every year starts the same for a lot of us as we pledge to get fit and change our lives, but a children’s charity could offer you the chance to reach your goals and do something for a worthy cause.

Children’s charity Children Today is offering people the opportunity to take part in the London to Paris Cycle Challenge that could help you fulfil your health goals.

Cycling offers many health benefits as it helps to burn fat and tone the body, provides an excellent cardiovascular workout and is also ecologically sound.

Participants will cycle 300 miles from London and Paris through charming countryside. The challenge will end at the Eiffel Tower where participants will celebrate with a victory dinner.

Ceri Ward, who is a local fundraiser, said: “This is a great event for anyone looking for a new challenge. Your participation in the event will make a big difference to a disabled child’s life.”

Not only will you feel a great sense of personal achievement when you cross the finish line, you will also know that you have helped to raise money for essential, specialised equipment for disabled children and young people throughout the UK.

The London to Paris trip is taking place between 13th and 17th June. The minimum sponsorship fee is £1,400 (plus a registration fee of £99).

If you are interested in taking part then contact Ceri Ward on 01244 335622 or email ceri@childrentoday.org.uk.
