Show to remember at Royal Albert Hall festival

Months of hard work culminated in an incredible night for Redbridge schoolchildren who took part in a dazzling performance at the Royal Albert Hall. The best musical talent in the area was on show as more that 1,800 pupils took part in the 19th Schools’ Choral Festival.

‘It was like talking to my mum’, says schoolboy who spoke to Queen

A schoolboy who had a chat with the Queen as she looked at the artwork by talented, young Redbridge artists has said that “it was like talking to my mum”. The Queen was looking at the artwork of some of the borough’s schoolchildren at the Design Marquee in the grounds of Valentines Mansion.
