Make will and help hospice
A group of solicitors in Preston are waiving their usual will writing fees in exchange for a donation to a Lancashire hospice. St Catherine’s Hospice second annual Wills Week will be taking place from November 12th to 18th and six solicitors across Preston, Leyland and Chorley will be providing their will-writing services for free for this worthy cause.

Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, which claims to be the UK’s biggest privately-owned hotel group, has announced its plans to invest £5m across its hotel, conference and meeting space portfolio. The group has over 45 hotels in its collection and the investment will be spread across many hotels in the group. The bedrooms have already been refurbished at the five-star Macdonald Randolph Hotel in Oxford and four-star Macdonald Alveston Manor in Stratford-upon-Avon.
