Businesses have lent cash to schools so the pupils can invest it and make a profit. The scheme, in North Lincolnshire, involves businesses lending £150 to primary and junior school children for them to use for their money-making ideas. Eight classes are taking part in the Make £5 Blossom project. It is the second time the scheme has been run in the borough. Earlier in the year ten schools were lent money and made more than £4,000 profit.
