20-year pub crawl for dedicated pub fan
Mark McConachie has completed the ultimate pub crawl – a 20 years tour of 300 pubs. The dedicated real ale fan started his crawl of Robinsons pubs back in 1991 and has completed it at The Sycamore in Birch Vale, Derbyshire. As part of his quest Mark has travelled as far as Lancaster and Stoke.

Kids charity benefits from first haircut in 40 years
A volunteer has faced the chop for the first time in 40 years, all in the name of charity. 54 year old Theresa Monaghan had her dramatic haircut to raise money for the charity Jump Space. Her waist long hair was chopped off to help the disabled children’s charity after they were burgled.
