40 years in the job for Derby solicitor

Ellis-Fermor and Negus Solicitors in Derby and Nottingham are celebrating 40 years service by David Negus. The 64 year old lawyer was part of the team that helped Nottinghamshire miners work through a national strike and is now celebrating 40 years as a qualified solicitor.

BBC go behind the scenes for Chatsworth documentary

The 12th Duke of Devonshire has allowed BBC cameras into his home for a behind the scenes look at the day to day goings on at Chatsworth House. The three part series will be aired on BBC One and will be called ‘Chatsworth’.

Double awards nod for doctor following prison project

Hannah McLean, a doctor from the Royal Derby Hospital, has been nominated for two national awards. Hannah, who is from Derby has been recognised for her work in a hospice and prisons in Africa.
