New life and jobs at formerly empty pub
Around 10 jobs are going to be created with a plan to reopen a Stoke-on-Trent pub that has been closed for two years. Experienced landlord Kenny Mackenzie hopes that he will be able to get the former Roebuck pub ready in time for the start of the new football season.

Former Dragon’s Den star James Caan is investing in a leading solicitors in Stoke-on-Trent. The investment will allow 50 new well jobs to be created in the North Staffordshire area. Knights, who were established in 1759, received an injection of cash in a landmark deal with Mr Caan’s private equity fund, Hamilton Bradshaw.

Learners are being offered new kinds of driving lessons in Stoke-on-Trent at Bryan’s Road Safety Centre based at Britannia Stadium. The new lessons give novice drivers the chance to learn in a safe environment away from other road users. Novice drivers are being given the opportunity to learn the basics of car control in which will benefit them, instructors, living on popular teaching routes.
