District Judge honour for Swansea solicitor
Swansea solicitor John Collins has been sworn in at the High Court in Bristol as a District Judge. Mr Collins will now sit on the Civil and Family jurisdiction court at Torquay County Court.

Following recent legislation on non-solicitor partnerships, JCP Solicitors in Swansea has made its chief executive Hayley Davies a full equity partner. Mrs Davies has been working at the law firm for 20 years and initially started work there as an evening typist. She then became an accounts manager and then started as chief executive officer in 2009. She has an MBA in legal practice.
