Owner of budget hotels in Swansea and throughout the UK, Travelodge, have revealed some of the most bizarre requests that its customers have asked for over the Christmas period.

The hotel chain, which has hotels in Swansea city centre and at junction 47 on the M4 motorway, has made public some of their customers’ festive requests. The list shows how important festive traditions are to British families staying with the hotel company on Christmas Eve.

One guest staying at Travelodge in Cardiff asked if the hotel could provide red bed linen so that they could get into the spirit of Christmas whilst an elderly couple at the London Teddington Travelodge as hotel staff if they could make their room smell like Christmas.

Travelodge spokeswoman Shakila Ahmed said: “Our teams try their utmost to accommodate all customer requests but there are just some requests that we just can’t help with such as making it snow on Christmas morning.”
