Bounce yourself fit

Just when you think you’ve got yourself settled into a new workout routine, another fitness trend comes along.

Health experts are focusing on designing workouts people can do anywhere, squeezing them in to their busy lives and making it even more difficult for us to use the excuse that we simply don’t have the time to exercise. We work hard, we exercise hard, but when do we get to be sociable and have fun? Whilst a number of exercise activities are held in classes, they’re not necessarily a sociable solution to working out. So if you like to work out with others, and generally have fun while you burn the calories, why not give good old-fashioned trampolining a try?

There are so many health benefits to trampolining, it’s a wonder not everybody is involved in bouncing their way to fitness. After just a few sessions you could be seeing a difference in muscle tone and flexibility. Studies have shown that trampolining is one of the most beneficial methods to genuinely reduce cellulite and, surprising as it sounds, it can be better for you than running and many other forms of exercise.

Trampolining centres are popping up across the country. These massive warehouse-style locations house wall-to-wall trampolines as far as the eye can see, all connected together to form one huge bounce park. Angled trampolines form the sides so you can literally bounce off the walls. Find your nearest centre and book yourself and a friend in for an hour of general bouncing, or sign yourself up to one of the many exercise classes held across the country. You might surprise yourself how much fun you can have, whilst getting fit at the same time. Trampolining can be enjoyed by just about anyone, of any age, shape and physical ability. So why not give it a go?
