The Somerley Estate saw hundreds of runners try to burn off some extra pounds at an event held in aid of The Wessex Autistic Society. Around 750 people took part and ran either the 5k or 10k in the grounds of the Somerley Estate stately home.

It was an unfortunate case of irony when a man who overcame a 15 year fear of flying was not allowed to catch a flight due to the frayed edge of his passport. Amazing Lulworth Castle Antiques Roadshow discovery

The Antiques Roadshow uncovered a great deal of historical items and hidden treasures when it came to Lulworth Castle. The experts even uncovered a jug that was made from Oliver Cromwell’s horse, thought to be worth thousands. A young couple brought along what they thought was an old leather jug, but it turned out to be an amazing find that was worth between £20,000 and £30,000.

A horticulturalist has taken inspiration from an unusual source for a topiary two metre high shoe. Agrumi, a horticultural specialist, looked to Lady Gaga for the stiletto, after seeing the star wearing some sky high heels. The piece was commissioned by traders in St Christopher’s Place in London after Lady Gaga was seen leaving a shoe shop in nine-inch heels.
