Cancer charity set up by Whickham mum-of-two
Joanne Smith has been nominated as one-in-a-million for setting up a charity after suffering breast cancer. Joanne was celebrating the second birthday of her daughter Molly when she found out that she had breast cancer.

Georgia Wilkins is dancing to the top
13-year-old Georgia Wilkins from Fenham is already dancing up a storm at her young age. With major titles and trophies to her name, she has high hopes of turning professional. Georgia and her dance partner Leoni Maltby have taken the top prize at the British Juvenile Classical Sequence Championships two years in a row.
